UV Tattoo Posted on January 8th, 2008 at 11:26 am by Preston
I decided as one of my goals for the new year i want to get a tattoo. But not an ordinary tattoo a UV tattoo. Choosing which tattoo was easy. It might be a little played out or cliche but because i have a love of cards/magic/poker/cheating I decided to get the UV tattoo of an ace of spades up my sleeve.
I’ll most likely get the UV tattoo of an ace up my sleeve when i go back to Vegas in the spring.
Lack of Updates Posted on September 20th, 2007 at 10:50 pm by Preston
I go through phases. I will get obsessed over something for a few months untill i find the next thing to obsess over. Over time this has made me the “Jack of all trades”. I plan to follow up on all my blogs and start updating more often. I have a lot of magic tricks i’ve been meaning to reveal to my readers. Keep checking back for some good magic trick information.
Funny thing. I was checking my logs and a large amount of hits came from the google keyword “Criss Angel Naked” which i just realized i rank on the bottom of page 1 in google. Woohooo!
Sorry for anyone looking for those pictures you won’t find them on this site.

The family of Harry Houdini is requesting the body of Harry Houdini the world’s most famous illusionist be exhumed to examine it for evidence that his death was not accidental.
“It needs to be looked at,” George Hardeen told The Associated Press. “His death shocked the entire nation, if not the world. Now, maybe it’s time to take a second look.”
Houdini’s family scheduled a news conference for Friday to give details on the plans. Prominent New York lawyer Joseph Tacopina is helping clear any legal hurdles to the exhumation.
A team of top forensic investigators would conduct new tests on Houdini’s body, said Hardeen, whose grandfather was Houdini’s brother.
The circumstances surrounding Houdini’s sudden death are as murky as the rivers where he often escaped from chains, locks and wooden boxes.
The generally accepted version was that Houdini, 52, suffered a ruptured appendix from a punch in the stomach, leading to a fatal case of peritonitis. But no autopsy was performed.
When the death certificate was filed on Nov. 20, 1926, Houdini’s body — brought by train from Detroit to Manhattan — had already been buried in Queens, along with any evidence of a possible death plot.
Within days, a newspaper headline wondered, “Was Houdini Murdered?”
The clean up of the new Echelon Hotel & Casino site is expected to take up to two months.
The Stardust became famous for its stellar, 188-foot sign and marquee as its mob connections. The Strip institution was the inspiration for the 1995 movie “Casino,” in which Robert De Niro played a character inspired by Frank “Lefty” Rosenthal, who ran the casino-hotel in the mid-1970s.
But as regulators cracked down on skimming in later years, Boyd was brought in as an operator in 1983 and bought the Stardust in 1985 when the owners lost their gambling license.
In the next two decades, the property’s luster began to fade. “Lido de Paris,” the showgirl extravaganza that starred illusionists Siegfried and Roy for more than a decade, wrapped up in 1991 after a 32-year run.
The Echelon should be opened sometime in 2010 with over 5,000 hotel rooms,a shopping mall, a production theater, concert venue and more than 1 million square feet of meeting space.

I went to the Coconut Creek Seminole Casino today to play some poker. About 5 people we’re ahead of me to get seats. As I was waiting for my name to be called I took out my Bicycle Black Tiger Deck and started practicing some card flourishes and a card color change trick.
My skills are good so that I can impress random people but they are not up to my standards yet. Anyways as I’m practicing some card flourishes, the floor comes to me and says:
Joe The Floor: Are you a magician? Preston: As a matter of fact I am… Joe The Floor: Nice (and he immediately walks away)
I suppose he had to do his job and couldn’t have everyone circle around me while I astonish them with some magic tricks.
As far as the poker session I played $80 in $2 Ante for the first time and lost within 15 minutes got a seat at a regular $2 straight game and turned my $40 into $200 in about an hour. I played good but I was also being a luck box.
